Social Innovation and Quality promotion in the Social Professions
Competence Centre Social Innovation and Quality Promotion in the Social Professions“ The Centre has the general scope of scientifically analyzing and evaluating the range of professional competences available in public and non-public social service agencies in the surrounding territory in an international context. By identifying examples and criteria of ‘best practice’ and analyzing them critically the Centre aims to improve the standards of service in the social services. The views and contributions of service users and of self-help initiatives will receive special attention in order to identify methods that promote sustainability in change processes. This overall objective will be achieved through projects at different levels devoted to the micro-level of direct interactions with users of services, to the meso-level of organizational dimensions and to the macro-level of social policy frameworks. Projects undertaken by the Centre promote the development of methods and social policies based on principles of social justice, equality and solidarity.
